Internship opportunities

The Agumbe Rainforest Research Station welcomes interns who share our commitment to rainforest conservation. The internship programme is designed for young researchers and students who are pursuing a career in ecology and conservation. The programme focuses on giving participants ample field experience while working alongside experienced staff. There are a few existing projects into which interns may be placed however we generally encourage interns to seek funding and initiate short term independent research projects which they can carry out while at ARRS. Positions are filled based on the availability of space and usually require a minimum commitment of one month. There is no fixed deadline for applications as this is a year round programme, however it is recommended to apply at least three months prior to your intended internship period. Applicants should write in to for further details.
